MathLibMoto, say what?

The MathLibMoto shared library is a new version of the present MatLib either built in or external as a part of the operating system. MathLibMoto is not yet released in final form but it will probably appear sometime in May.

The benefits compared to the standard Lib is clear if you look at the figures from MacBench 3.0. In real life there is another story. We would imagine that calculations heavily depending on mathematical expression would gain most, like some instructions in Photoshop or in 3D rendering.

We are not convinced yet, but it could be some acceleration in for example rendering with 2-8%. That does not sound too much, but if you consider that all you have to do is to drop a file in the system folder, no accelerators, no moderboard-swap, no costs - that's a great deal.

Remember, if you are constructing atomic devices relying on accurate digits in the 248th decimal place, we would not recommend to do that - with this magic thing. (Remember Pentium?)

OK, lets download New MathLibMot1.0.1 (hqx-format)
